A Perfect Fall Backdrop at Brown Deer Boathouse
Nestled in the heart of Milwaukee, the Brown Deer Boathouse offers a setting that feels straight out of a storybook — especially in autumn. The grounds burst with warm fall colors, creating a natural palette of golds, oranges, and deep reds that framed Chelsea & Kelly beautifully all day long.
From the quiet pond reflecting the changing leaves to the charming boathouse architecture, every corner of the property felt like a cinematic backdrop. Whether we were photographing along the water or under canopies of glowing fall trees, this venue was the perfect match for their warm, heartfelt, joy-filled wedding.
Murphy, the Cutest Guest of Honor
Of course, their day wouldn’t have been complete without Murphy, their sweet pup who brought pure happiness to every moment. Tail wags, snuggles, and a few cameo appearances during portraits made for some of the couple’s favorite images — and mine too.
Golden Hour Magic at Oak Antler
After celebrating with family and friends, we headed to the Oak Antler property, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. The space opened up to rolling views, quiet landscapes, and one of the most stunning sunsets I’ve seen all season.
Golden rays lit up the sky as Chelsea & Kelly soaked in those first just-married moments together. It was peaceful, romantic, and truly unforgettable — the kind of sunset that feels like the universe is celebrating right along with you.
