A Dreamy Summer Senior Session with Rachel on the Ice Age Trail
Rachel’s Summer Senior Portrait Session | Wisconsin Senior Photographer
Rachel’s senior portrait session was the perfect mix of natural beauty, golden light, and personal style. We spent the evening surrounded by beautiful forest trails, charming bridges, and soft summer greenery — all timed perfectly so the golden light could come down through the trees as the sun began to set.
One of my favorite parts of senior sessions is getting to tell each senior’s story through different outfits, locations, and little details that feel like them. For Rachel, we photographed everything from her class jacket to cozy sweaters, favorite casual looks, and beautiful dresses. Each outfit brought out a different side of her personality, and the forest setting gave every image a soft, timeless feel.
The trails and bridges added so much variety to her gallery. Some images felt relaxed and playful, while others had a more dreamy, editorial look as the sunset glowed behind her. That golden summer light is always worth waiting for, and Rachel’s session was such a beautiful reminder of why senior portraits are about so much more than just taking pictures.
Senior year is such an exciting season. It marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, and I love creating portraits that feel personal, confident, and full of life. Rachel was so much fun to photograph, and her session was filled with laughter, movement, and those little in-between moments that make a gallery feel truly special.
From class jackets to dresses, forest paths to glowing sunset portraits, Rachel’s summer senior session was one to remember.
If you’re part of the Class of 2027 and dreaming of senior portraits that feel like you, now is the perfect time to start planning your session.
